GL: Bottom Paint Stripping

When we hauled out at Spring Cove in Solomon's, MD at the end of September,
there was a boat being soda blasted by an outside contractor. They did the
whole boat in less than one day. Apparently the soda is coarse enough that it
will cut the bottom paint but in the process it turns to a powder. They came
in and covered the ground around the boat, taped plastic to the sides to
"tent" the boat and went to work, cleaning up when they were done. I don't
remember the cost except that I thought at the time that it was very
reasonable.
