GL: Bottom Paint Stripping

I striped (and actually peeled) the gelcoat from the bottom of my 21' Boston
Whaler about a decade ago. I used a 4000psi pressure cleaner that removed
about 5,000 tiny (pea sized) blisters. I then hung the boat in a cradle for
about nine months to let it dry, then sanded and barrier coated, without
reapplying gelcoat. The boat is still fine today.
