If you're looking for something to do or follow, the Atlantic
Intracoastal Waterway Association is conducting the "AIWA 2007
Waterway Conference" on Nov 15-16, 2007 in Myrtle Beach SC. According
to the website http://www.atlintracoastal.org, 'The conference will
bring together over 100 people with a vested interest in the water
highway. Planned presentations by industry and government
professionals will reportedly cover a wide variety of topics of
interest to commercial shippers, recreational boaters, and communities
along the waterway and federal, state, and local government agencies.

This conference is reportedly the only opportunity to meet and
network with representatives from Virginia, North Carolina, South
Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. You will have an opportunity to
provide your input to the AIWA Board of Directors to help develop the
