GL: Tipping Mechanics

I didn't know that boaters were no longer tipping mechanics for good  
service.  Perhaps that is because we always do!  We also tip the  
automobile mechanics at our dealership, the barber and beautician.   
Strangely though, we don't tip the electrician, plumber, appliance  
repairmen (perhaps because they are always different persons).

As far as the marina mechanics, we do note that we generally get our  
work orders acted upon more quickly than other boaters -- maybe the  
tipping does help!
