GL: Tipping Mechanics

Greetings Again,
 
I was just involved in some discussions with a couple of mechanics and they  
asked me why boaters are no longer tipping a mechanic, providing they did a 
good  job.  They wonder why boaters don't even tip when the mechanic comes in on 
 their day off or stays late to make sure a boater is taken care of.  I  told 
them I would ask the group to see what each of you come up with.
