No, it is on the Mississippi below Cairo, down to New Orleans. Don't go there!
Instead, you will want to take the Tenn-Tom route thru Mobile. Much better route.
For future, assuming you are doing the loop ccw, when you are ready to enter Georgian Bay, e-mail me and I can give you some tips on the North Channel. Been there, done that.
Also, might be of help on the Le Cheneux, Mac Island, Door County (WI) and down Lake Michigan thru Chicago, down to Joliet, with some points of interest.
Just another resource.
Many others can do the same, but if I can help out, gimme a shout.
