Appreciate Bob Austin's report on the Red Tide on the Pan Handle. I have not heard more about it here on Mobile Bay (it did not bother us here) but I was down in Gulf Shores yesterday, not on the beach but on the ICW at LULU's and no sign of it. I bought fish at our local fish market today and another customer was asking about the origin of their oysters and was told that they came from Louisiana. That they are NOT harvesting oysters in Appalaciacola now, that they are VERY careful about that there. Of course they do not want to talk about the red tide here or any place as it's 'bad for tourism'...so who knows?
