GL: Essential Equipment For The Loop

As I start to prepare for my loop adventure this spring, I keep going
over, and over my equipment list.  Trying to have everything you need 
with limited space is not as easy as it may sound. So I thought I'd 
ask the question here.

I have limited space "19' Montauk Boston Whaler", trying to keep 
things to a minimum, but making sure you have the correct equipment is 
not as easy as it sounds.

I'm not looking for a complete list, just some essentials which you 
feel you would have to have.

I'm going to build a deck box for storage, not sure of the dimensions
yet but it will replace the cooler in front of the helm.  Good spot
for it, balancing out the weight to ensure proper planning, etc. Some 
room in the bow, under the filler fishing/sun platform deck.

So, what are your thoughts, what are your have to have's.
