GL: Punta Gorda to Marathon

If you want, you can go at least eight miles up the Little Shark River 
if you carry less than a six foot draft. We did it in 2005 when we were 
exploring the Keys. A dingy might be faster, but not necessary.

I'd highly recommend an off-the-direct-route stop in Flamingo. The park 
there is fantastic. Check first, they might still be recovering from the 
damage they sustained during hurricanes almost three years ago.
