Ahoy Charles:
I have a 36' Albin trawler that we've twice done
the Loop on, in addition to numerous cruises on the
Atlantic ICW.
Don't have any experience with the 40+' boats, but
considering your comments about the 35' charter being
"a lot crowded" with you, your wife and twin boys;
will the boys be cruising with you when you do the
Loop? If not, I think a less-expensive-to-buy,
maintain and use 36' trawler might be a good way to
go. Just a thought.
