Hello all,
Strangely enough, I just received a notice of a class action suit in this
months Visa bill. It seems that the plaintiffs claims that "Visa,
MasterCard, Diners Club conspired to set and conceal fees, typically 1-3%,
on foreign transactions" and plenty of other legal stuff. Also, last fall
after a trip to Canada, I noticed extra fees broken out on my bill. When I
called, they said that these weren't new fees but in the past were lumped
into the 'rate' of exchange that was used to calc the charges in USD. I
guess they were trying to be preemptive.
