GL: Credit card fees for charges in Canada

Last year we spent 4 months in Canada and charged on our American
Express and Citicard Visa.  We did not notice initially but we were
charged a 3% fee on every canadian $ charge when billed in $US.

This year we signed up for a MC from Capital One which does not charge a fee.
Since we tend to charge everything both for convenience and record
keeping this fee added up.
