GL: Venice still giving citations as of last week

I with you Matt. Before we cruised out of the area in 2003 we had traveled thrrough the Venice area many times. We never had a problem with any of the enforcement agencies on that section of the coast. Maybe we left before the problem child was turned loose there. We will be heading through there in the spring though. Hope the lad has come to grips with his issues before then. We can always duck ouitside and bypass Venice but it is a nice place to stop for as night or two.
