GL: Prices along the way!

To all the cruisers out there,

Please understand that when we post marina & docking prices in our guides they
are subject to change without notice.  We can't help it, that's just the way
it is.  Some change 3 times or more in a season.  What we print is a good
guideline.  Please do not take our publications into the office of a marina or
a tie up along a canal and demand to get the price that is printed in our
guide or anyone else's guide.  You may have the latest printing but without
rewriting every month it is impossible to get it right all the time.  You can
see what has happened to fuel prices.  I just hate it when I get 3 phone calls
in one weekend from marinas, etc. telling me that people are coming into their
office demanding the prices in our guides. Skipper Bob Publications is not
responsible for price changes nor do we set the pricing.   I have been told to
"Leave our prices out of your guide".  Next thing they might tell me is do not
put us in your guide!! They do not like being badgered about their prices any
more than you like paying them.  Just move on if you think the price is too
steep.  They do not have you chained to the dock.

I am sorry I have to be so blunt about this but come on folks,  give us all
some slack.  We are trying to give you a product that is giving you GUIDE
LINES.  That is why they are called CRUISING GUIDES.
