Gail & John,
Canajoharie was always a must-stop for me. I always loved the
library building, I liked sitting in the great room and enjoying the air
conditioning and absorbing the ambience. Something very calming about that
room.
Peruzzi's Meat Market was a major stock-up point on the canal, but in
the past 2 years he converted it to a furniture store. I talked to Mr.
Peruzzi a year ago, he told me the grocery was going away completely.
What
does Peruzzi's offer now?

Maybe everybody else knows this, but we found there are no floating docks,
electricity or water at Canajoharie.
There is 6.5 feet at the concrete wall
but is shallows quickly as you move
away from the wall.
In addition, the
art museum at the library is closed until September. We were
looking forward
to the Winslow Homers.
But do try the "20 degree below Choco" at Peruzzi's
Meat Market
