Most public libraries in the US and Canada offer a free wide band internet
connection. Whenever we cruise, or even take long auto trips, we carry a small
wi-fi equipped laptop. During occasional layovers we hunt down the library,
dump all our e-mail into the laptop, send out all the pctures we have taken,
attend to whatever business we need to, then fold up the laptop and celebrate
by
having a good meal. The ritual has worked so far.
