We elected to do the Rideau on our Great Circle Cruise and are almost thru
it. Anchored today in Morton's Bay just south of Jones Falls Locks. One of
the prettiest anchorage we have been in ( we have been in a bunch) and this
whole waterway is not something to miss.

We arrived in Ottawa the last of June, just before Canada Day, spending 6
days in Ottawa. Contrary to popular myth-----BE IN OTTAWA on Canada Day.What
a place, tied up in the middle of town with all the restaurants, shopping,
museums, parliament, you name it with in walking distance.

On the waterway there are so many places to tie up that are very convenient
and are included in the season dock pass that we have not launched the
dinghy on the entire waterway!!!!!!!

We wear a jacket in the mornings and evenings!!!!!!
Slept with the blanket pulled up last nt.

There are so many places to see that on many days we make 5 to 10 miles per
day.

We will get to Kingston on Sunday, today is Thursday and it is about 25
miles from here!!!
