GL: Killarney, North Channel

We arrived today at Killarney in the North Channel and were very disappointed to see that the Sportsmen's Inn Marina is closed and in receivership.  The majority of dockage for Killarney was at this marina and will certainly be missed.  We are at Gateway Marine (705-287-2333), a very nice and clean marina, but a limited number of available transient slips. As I said, this closure leaves a large void in available dockage in Killarney so you might want to check your guide books and call ahead.  Killarney Lodge Marina is another alternative and can accomodate large boats.  Hope this helps some of you who may have planned to stop in Killarney for their great white fish and chips at Mr. Perch.
