GL: Our river trip over.

Now that I'm back to my home based computer, I just wanted to give a big
thanks to all who sent info to us regaurding our river trip to deliver a
friends 52 ft boat down the rivers.
The trip was cut a little short, as the big rains Arkansas got weekend
before last got the Ark River running up to about 8 mph, and we were going
up stream in a 9 mph boat!  After traveling 140 miles down the Tenn, 50
miles down the Ohio, aprox 350 down the Miss, and about 70 miles UP the
White and Arkansas River we left the boat in a (the) marina in Pine Bluff,
Arkansas. Due to the owners time restrictions, ( and I think his dislike for
the river cruising experience) he is having the boat hauled and trucked on
to Lake Murray, in southern Okla, it's final destination.
A fellow listee, Jim Monahan and I who were sharing the navigation /
captaining duties very much enjoyed our River experiences and plan to do
more river traveling in the future.
