Bill and list,

If you sleep on a Foam Rubber mattress at home and are comfortable
with it (even without air conditioning) when anchoring out, then by
all means get a good one.

We purchased a custom marine grade innerspring mattress from Palmer
Bedding Company, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. <www.BOATMATTRESS.com>
They have several different models and firmness to choose from
including mattresses with pillow tops, even special mattresses for
patients having Fibromyalgia, etc. Their innersprings are dry powder
coated mattresses are guaranteed for the life of your boat.

It is much cooler on those hot sticky nights on board. We have had
ours for 6 years now and sleep as good on the boat as we do at home!
