I agree with Alan Lloyd on the time for the Trent-Severn (which is the part
I know of the waterways he mentioned), but it would be a real shame to turn
around at Port Severn without exploring Georgian Bay and the North Channel
which are outstanding cruising country if you like anchoring out in scenic
spots. I would consider doing the whole trip in two seasons, leaving the
boat for the winter in a marina in Georgian Bay.
