GL: Boat Mattress

Greetings,
I look forward to doing the loop someday and have always wondered how people
sleep comfortably. I know that some yachts have beds similar to what one would
find in a home, however many boats have little more than a foam pad. I also
know that the boat magazines offer custom bedding, both innerspring mattresses
and latex foam type. What are the recommendations and experiences from the
seasoned cruisers.
