Call 1-800-4CANAL4 to get free information on the Erie Canal. The NYS Canal 
Corporation will be happy to send you a package of canal information, lists of 
charter companies, free charts, scheduled events, lock locations and telephone 
numbers, etc. You can't beat the price.

An Erie Canal trip is one of the most enjoyable ways of messing around in 
boats. If you have the time, take the side trip down to Lake Cayuga and visit the 
jewel of the Fingerlakes.
