GL: Mid- Life Madness

Phil and Vickie;

We made the trip in (2) boats we chartered in 2004. It was absolutely
wonderful. Our boats were 42 feet long with a 65 bhp Yanmar Diesel,
slow, but that is the way you want to go. The scenery is all one could
imagine, it was absolutely wonderful. We found the best places to eat in
the towns that we visited were the bars. The reason is that in New York
a bar must serve food and the cuisine was great. We are in the process
of doing the Great Loop this year and we are looking forward to the Erie
Canal again. As a matter of fact we have guests who are taking a number
in case the people who opted for this portion of the trip cannot make
it. 

Just sit back relax and enjoy one of the greatest trips y'all will ever
make.

I am sorry that I do not remember the name of the company that we
chartered the boat; we found them by just going to Google
