I agree, Mid-Lakes Navigation is a good place to rent a boat. I know the
folks there personally, and they're all good people.
I believe all the packet boats available for rental on the Erie Canal were
actually built by Mid-Lakes, regardless of who has them now. Mid-Lakes
also operates the tour boat Amita II, which you will definitely encounter
on any canal trip.
