GL: Lower Misissippi river

We have done it and enjoyed the trip.  It certainly beats rivers that are 
over run with crazy pleasure boaters!!!!!

 We also did the entire Arkansas river all the way  to Tulsa, Ok. ( also 
covered on our web site)

By the way  we strongly recommend  departing the Miss. at the Atchafalaya 
river and re joining it  at New Orleans.
