GL: Sold boat and joined Great Loop List

Hello, my name is Ed and for a couple of years I have wanted to buy a
trawler. Well, yesterday I sold my 37 Chris Craft express cruiser! I am
viewing this as a pretty significant step toward getting a trawler. Before
it was just dreaming; now were moving forward. So I joined your list and
hope to listen in on the discussions and read all the neat stuff about all
the cool places that everyone visits in their travels of the Great Loop. It
will still be quite a few years before we retire and can do the same. But,
we live in southwest Michigan near the shores of Lake Michigan. We can
cruise to lots of destinations on both sides of the lake and we hope to do
so prior to the time we actually get to do the loop. We did a bit of this
with the Chris Craft but I hope the economies of a trawler permit us to do
much more. So I thought I would kind of introduce myself. I expect Ill have
some questions along the way. Ed
