GL: Marathon-Biscayne Bay Inside

Does anyone know if I can make the "inside" route from Channel 5 to Card
Sound/ Biscayne Bay in my sailboat with our 4.5' draft?

Also interesting places to stop/things to do on this route?

We've done the Hawks Channel route several times and would like a change.
Although we did enjoy John Pennekamp State Park last summer.
