Exactly my experience with BoatUS.  I offered that to stay out of Florida
until after hurricane season and leave by June 1.  They replied, "We don't do
that".

By the way, when we changed insurance companies we faced a new survey, always
an exciting time for a boat owner.  The two reasons we selected Reliable was
that they allowed us to be further south before November 1, specifically the
Fla / Ga border.  The other reason was that they asked only for an in-water
survey.
