Just to let interested parties know, we have received a revised tax bill from
Horry County (Myrtle Beach), S.C. The amount owed is canceled. No
explanation given.

Loopers should be aware of possible tax consequences of exceeding time
limitations of having a boat in S. Carolina in general and Horry County in
particular. It was reduced from 180 days to 60 consecutive days or 90 total
days after we left our boat for the winter. There is talk of extending it
back to 180 days, but who knows.

A reduction in money spent by Loopers passing through the area while the
current limits are in force might get somebody's attention.
