GL: When to leave

I agree with you Greg.  We made so many trips up and down the ICW that many
years we just used it like a interstate highway.  We stopped where we wanted
to repeat a visit but buzzed on by the ones that were 'so so'. Even though it
sounds like a lot of travel, when you live aboard full time it is different.
I think we made 12 passages on the ICW.  We also went up the Ohio to
Pittsburgh for a Summer because my family was there.  That was a very
interesting trip and we saw so many different things from what you see on
the coast. We even went up the Allegheny River to Bradys Bend. That is as
far as we could go on Snug. The Monongahela River was closed due to a lock
problem or we would have done it too.

What ever you do, get out there and do it.  Life is too short.
