Our concerns with the livingston were
1 low freeboard
2very little reserve bouyancy
1&2= swamps easily
3 relativly deep draft
4 difficult to get into from swimming
5 not as stable as a rib or inflatable
as with most hard  dinks, almost indusructable, but can bang against mother ship. Jon.
