<The bow roller on my de Fever 41 is one that pivots down. It has two
rollers, one smaller than the other, both bronz. The larger roller is
forward. One of the flat head screws that goes into the front roller had
fallen out, and I removed the other so I could see what the diameter and
pitch was. In the process of removing the roller, I tipped it and the
"axel" fell out.>
Brian,
I have the same boat and had the same problem with the loosing one
screw. I removed one from the other small roller (mine has 2 same sized
small rollers on the front). It is 3/8" by 16 pitch as you probably
discovered. Sorry, can't help with your real question. Just thought I
would relate a similar experience. I am thinking of adding lock-tite to
each screw. Any concerns with this?
