GL: Rusty Propane Cylinders

Ever think about installing an adapter and using a large tank? I did it and
it worked out great. I always had a problem with storing the small
tanks...outside of course.
No more small tanks to keep up with and there are many choices for tank
construction....aluminum, brass and fiberglass
http://www.lpgastanks.com/propane-tanks/lc10 If I had it to do over I would
use a 10 lb aluminum or fiberglass tank to save room...I had a 20 lb and a
vinyl cover. Since I lived aboard and cooked most of my meals on the
grill...a Fire and Ice by Charbroil. I think they are discontinued. Worked
great because of the full solid grilling surface. I could scramble eggs and
fry bacon...then do the meats at night. I fashioned some rail fittings and
attached the grill part. I saved the cooler that was part of the Fire and
Ice and I still have it.
Just some thoughts.

Has anyone else noticed that the Wal-Mart 16.4 oz bbq propane cylinders
rust
like the devil? There are some tiny holes on the bottom that the rust
starts
around. After only a few days of hanging out of the grill the area
underneath is covered with rust stains. rai.com/mailman/options/great-loop
