I always appreciate the help of anyone on the dock when docking. Its the
neighborly thing to do. I have always personally done it. If the boaters
dont want help, OK. But it certainly is faster to throw me a loop and let me
hang it on a cleat for you than for your crew to jump off the boat and do
it.
On our home dock, everyone helps others whenever we see then leaving or
coming back to the dock. Its the neighborly thing to do.
