GL: Illinois River flooding

A number of locks on the Illinois River system are closed and there is
severe flooding with a lot of debris in the water. Along with Sea Sea, the
B & B is staying in Chicago until we can safely enter this river system.
Note that the Chicago paper reported that for the first time since 2002, the
Lake Michigan lock was opened to the lake to drop the Chicago river down
from the 3 foot above pool level that existed yesterday. Reports from boats
already on the river are disheartening and their advice is to stay in
Chicago until the flooding recedes. The B and B is at the Chicago Yacht
Club (we are a catamaran and easy to spot) and Sea Sea is on the pump out
wall within sight of us. Skinwalker, also doing the loop, is on a mooring.
We hope to be able to move early next week.
