Peter,

Don't be
discouraged by the negatives and those who refuse to do
their homework (or
obey laws). There are plenty on the list who need
and appreciate our help!
For many, this is their introduction to
Long Range Cruising (more than a
couple hundred miles from their home
port).

Unfortunately, many on the list
have not completed the Great Loop and/
or even know what it is??? My
analysis is that this list should be
called the "Snowbirds" List (go North
in the Spring and South in the
Fall). Those who are serious about doing the
Great Loop either have
or should join the America's Great Loop Cruisers
Association
<www.greatloop.org>.

John
