The RCMP is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police -- roughly the
equivalent to the USA FBI - Federal Bureau of Intelligence. The RCMP
is the highest law enforcement force in Canada. The Provincial
Police are the equivalent of the USA State Police or County
Sheriffs, Canada also has City Police in their larger cities.
