GL: alarmed at firearms comments

Indeed.  People own guns for many different purposes, most of mine  
are over 100 years old.  I can assure the list that a gun stored on  
my boat is much safer than a gun left at home and exposed to  
thieves.  The guns aren't being carried to start a world war, etc., etc.

Paranoia is on all sides when it comes to guns.  Sorry it was even  
brought up and I participated in it.  Enjoy your cruising!
