GL: Can one avoid Canada?

I'm not the moderator, but one of the agreements we have on this list and 
the T&T list is to NOT get into, nor allow, discussions regarding gun laws 
of the USA. Unfortunately people new to the list are unaware of the 
agreement and that's when you get a statement like "Canada's oppressive gun 
laws" as bait and the subsequent statement which it caught.
