GL: New York Harbor Security Zones

The families and friends of the aprox. 2700 people that died from terrorism
within sight of where Fred was taking pictures might not agree with you. This
isn't a back water lake in Iowa. Freds boat would be ideal for a USS Cole type
of event. Would he do it? Of course not, he floats around on a nice boat
taking great pictures that I and many others enjoy. Would the guys who take
over Freds boat and get up close to large vessels do it? In a heartbeat, they
might just look around for a large LPG tanker. That would be a heck of a
picture, wouldn't it? I'd bet that would stay in peoples minds a lot longer
than any of Freds pictures will. I have no doubt Fred will go on enjoying his
cruising for many years and continue to entertain us all with his well
photo-documented trips. I wish him the best. I do however think it behoves us
all to be aware of what goes on around us on our waterways and enjoy them in a
responsible manner.

Sounds an awful lot like too much "big brother" to me. I'd prefer to see
Fred take pictures at will and risk ramifications from terrorists.
