Jonathan,

Be VERY careful when you exit Fort Edward Harbor.. there are Big
Rocks right in the middle of what folks think is the channel.  It's under 3
feet in the middle.  Hug the pier.

Good meals are available in Fort Edward
at The Anvil Restaurant.

And about 2 miles north on Burgoyne Avenue is a rather impressive flight of

To walk or
bike the old Champlaine  tow path park & see the old lock and dam,
Walk/bike
on East St. Turn left just prior to the RR station, road ends in a
cinder
path through a park then to the old tow path. Jon & Nancy on Valentine.
Channel to Ft. Edward carries just over 5 ft.
