We drove to Marathon in March, to visit friends and hunt for a winter home for
MORNING STAR. As part of that process we visited the City Harbormaster. They
had just completed laying out about 50 or so new moorings and were getting
ready to lay out at least that many more. IF memory serves, they will have
close to 200 moorings by now. Our conversation with the harbormaster affirmed
that they still have a "no reservation" policy. Its still first come-first
served. They keep no waiting list.
