You can buy insurance for anything - for a price!

Of course, you can get year around insurance in Florida,. It just costs 
more than if you get a policy that excludes certain parts of the country 
or requires you to have your boat north of a certain latitude during 
hurricane season.

If you keep a boat in Florida year around, just check with the major 
insurance companies or with good insurance brokers and let them know 
what you need. Some companies may not insure in Florida during hurricane 
season, but plenty of them do.
