GL: Storage Suggestions on the Loop

Hello all,
 
I am leaving this Tuesday, starting a two year Great Loop Plan (lets call  it 
Plan A).
 
I will be traveling a few weeks at a time, leaving the boat in storage  every 
month or so, seeing how far I can get until I hit chilly cold weather,  then 
I shall store the boat on the hard where ever it may be. Hoping to make the  
Erie Canal area by Summers end.
 
Then next spring, continuing the loop.
 
As I have only been as far north as Cumberland Island Georgia, I am looking  
for recommendations on where to store the boat, both in the Water and on the  
Hard , along the route.
 
Any suggestions?
 
And then there is Plan B, what ever that may be.
