I am curious to know and understand how physical REMOVAL of the pipes is the
ONLY accepted method too prevent the POTENTIAL for overboard discharge. It
seems to me that other measures could be taken and viewed as acceptable,
such as wiring the valvles in proper position and remove the fuse or tape
the breaker OFF for the macerator pump, or perhaps remove the power wire to
the pump.
If the macerator pump is sufficiently disabled, that would prevent pumping
the holding tank overboard.
