Brass is 450 millivolts while passive stanless steel is 150 millivolts
therefore the brass is more anodic and will become the sacrificial
material. The passive stainless will be more cathodic.
The table listed has errors on the position of silicone bronze and monel.
Silicone bronze is 260 millivolts where as active stainless steels 302,
304,316, 317, 321 and 347 have a potential of 550. Monel has a galvanic
voltage of 110 millivolts, slightly more anodic that Titanium at 100
millivolts.
The higher the voltage the more anodic and the material that is sacrificial
to galvanic corrosion.
