I would suggest the 12 to 14 Aluminum Duroboat.

Weight of the 12' boat is 184 lbs. Rated for 15 hp and this is equivilant
to a 25 hp on a RIB. We fitted one with nice Sunbrella cushions, foam gunnel
guard covered with white heavy dacron cover (like firehose) and a Sunbrella
cover. The Aluminum skiff can take a real beating, rides better than an RIB.
But--in many ways the RIB is safer with the floation of the inflatable
pontoons.
I have owned several of these Duroboats--plus several comperable sized
RIB's--for generally dinghy use, the Aluminum skiff can't be beat for room,
ride and durability.
