GL: Great Loop Budget Spreadsheets

I don't have our loop expenses in spreadsheet form, but wanted to respond with
my views on this topic. Other than the direct fuel and maintenance costs
related to the boat, all the other expenses are related to personal life style
choices and vary accordly to the choices made. For examples, I will pick
food,marina cost, and sightseeing.  If you never go out to eat your food cost
will be much less than the boaters who want to go out to 5 star restaurants
weekly. Our marina costs were high as we had a dog onboard who needed easy
shore access, but others chose to anchor a lot and had much lower marina
costs. There are those whose sightseeing was what they saw from the boat, and
others who would rent cars and travel around the areas to visit other sights
and attractions. My point is there is wide variations in what people spend
doing the loop based on their personal lifestyle and choices on what they
spend their money on.
