GL: Indigolady on the Erie Canal

  I hope you have a wonderful "warm" Christmas and winter season.  I am still heading north, but have made it into the Erie Canal.  I am in Canajoharie, NY just before Lock 14, using the computer in the library.  Unfortunately, the Art Gallery is closed, but thankfully all the art had been moved in anticipation of the renovations. Otherwise, they would have been ruined in the flooding this summer.  I want to thank you for your hospitality while I was in Portsmouth.  I had a great time being tourist with you to Hampton.  It's people like you who have made my trip so enjoyable.  I only have about 550 more miles to go and I will be home, closing the loop.  Actually looking forward to the snow (oops did I say that 4 letter word?).  I am hoping that the Lady of Lake Erie will be kind and gentle on my return trip to the Detroit River where I started.  bye for now
